Leadership Positions
The Greek Programming Board is composed of the following leadership positions.
Director
Oversees the planning of all Greek Programming Board events through leading the bi-weekly meetings and scheduling check in meetings with Board members. Responsible for developing the annual goals for the Greek Programming Board.
Assistant Director of Greek Points
Manages the Greek Point check in and Greek Point event submission for the UA Greek community. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating Qualtrics forms and keeping the forms consistently updated
- Sharing Greek Points progress with chapters.
Assistant Director of Communications
Manages the Greek Programming social media by communicating with the UA Greek community to assist with the promotion of programs.
Assistant Director of Finance and Operations
Manages the Greek Programming Board financial accounts and keeps record of budget for each program. Keeps record of all Greek Programming Board bi-weekly meeting agendas.
Community Engagement Chair
Responsible for planning Greek Programming Board sponsored events with the goal of uniting the community. Examples of events include, but are not limited to:
- Grab and Go Events
- FDOC Student Tips and Treats
- Fuel Up for Finals
- Happy Valentine’s Day, Love GPB
Philanthropy and Service Chair
Responsible for planning Greek Programming Board sponsored community service and philanthropy initiatives. Examples of events include, but are not limited to:
- Fundraisers
- School Yard Roots Flower Sale
- Pie for Pups
- Service Activities
- West Alabama Food Bank Drive
- Greek Week of Service
Health and Wellness Chair
Responsible for planning Greek Programming Board sponsored health and wellness events. Examples of events include, but are not limited to:
- First Aid Training
- QPR Training
Leadership and Personal Development Chair
Responsible for planning Greek programming Board sponsored leadership and personal development programs. Examples of events include, but are not limited to:
- Resume Workshops
- Linked In Workshops
- Professional Headshots Sessions
- Personal Branding Workshop
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for Greek Programming Board, you must meet the following requirements:
- Initiated, active members in good standing of a fully chartered recognized OFSL chapter at the University of Alabama.
- Have a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
- Does not currently hold a Greek council executive board position or serve as the chapter president.
Responsibilities
If selected for the 2025 Greek Programming Board, officers must meet the following requirements:
- Remain in good standing with a fully chartered recognized OFSL chapter that University of Alabama
- Remain in good standing with the University (I.e., academic, conduct, housing)
- Enrolled in at least 12 hours during both the Fall and Spring semesters.
- Complete all tasks of assigned leadership positions within established timelines.
- Attend all meetings of the GPB (Wednesdays at 2 p.m.) and special meetings as called by the advisor or Director
- Attend the GPB Spring Planning Retreat and the GPB Fall Transition Retreat
- Attend the Greek Leadership Summit (January)

The Greek Programming Board application will close on November 6. The outgoing Greek Programming Board members will review applications and extend invitations for interviews on November 8.
